PARTNERS > REFERRAL NETWORK
Immediate aftercare is a must—trauma support, temporary shelter, addressing legal issues, etc. Once survivors are stable enough to look outward and have exhausted frontline resources, their challenges shift. That’s where EN steps in.
The “network” of Empowered Network consists of 100+ immediate aftercare organizations that identify survivors who have achieved basic stability but are at the critical juncture where services are expiring and societal barriers still abound. Referring case managers and service providers nominate these survivors to Empowered Network via a secure portal. EN has Operational Agreements with every partner, outlining where their services end and EN’s begin. EN advocates direct survivors to available local programs whenever possible, so that every dollar spent has tangible impact that could not be duplicated elsewhere. The program is designed to be flexible and account for varied local service offerings while filling the remaining gaps. This provides survivors with needed advocacy and short-term tactical funding to complete the transition to independence.
